Joy of Books is a bi-annual two-day local Buffalo City Book Festival of literary fun for the whole family. Our Joy of Books Festival was launched on 16 and 17 July and our next Festival is booked for 3 - 4 December 2022.
Joy of Books started as a legacy project with profits from the event being used to buy books for local schools in memory of those we have lost. Each book will be gifted on behalf of Joy of Books and those who have contributed. Please bring any books that you would like to donate to our book donations stall so we can keep growing this meaningful legacy.

TESTIMONIAL
When I was looking for a collaborator for Joy of books I went straight to Jen. I explained my vision and Jen made it happen. She created plays of such a high standard, they met the brief perfectly. She was able to bring out the best in the performers and the audiences were entranced from the outset. Jen's talent shone through each performance and I feel privileged to have worked with Jen on such a unique project. Jen's passion and love of the theatre alongside her exceptional writing skills made her the perfect partner for Joy of books.
In addition to the plays Jen led the writers and speakers at the event. This was well coordinated and planned to make sure everyone got their chance to shine. I would highly recommend Jen to anyone looking for a playwright, writer, dramatist and all round cultural guru. Thank you Jen for sharing your talents and cannot wait to do it all again.
